The Crucifix is an item obtainable in The Lost Floors. It is an item players may use to protect themselves from most hostile entities.
Usage
If an entity attempts to attack a player holding the crucifix, the item will levitate out of their hand and chain the entity to the ground. Moonlight's symbol will appear on the floor, and a blue fog aura will quickly spin around, dragging the chained entity into the floor as it screams. This prevents all damage from the entity, neutralizing it until the next time it spawns, or when it breaks free. Entities of which the crucifix is used on can still spawn later in the run. If the Starlight Crucifix is used instead, the aura will be yellow and Starlight's symbol will replace Moonlight's.
The crucifix can even be used against boss entities, such as Seek and Figure, but doing so will only stun the entity temporarily. When the chains produced by the crucifix begin to glow red, it is a sign that Redlight is canceling the effects of the crucifix (shown by Moonlight's symbol being replaced by Redlight's spiral) and saving the entity from banishment.
The crucifix is a one-use item and will be removed from the player's inventory upon its usage, whether invalidated by Redlight or not.

Trivia
- The crucifix has a gamepass that allows players to get a crucifix when they join a run, making it much easier to get the achievements related to the item. This gamepass costs 143 Robux.
- Additionally, activating modifiers that increase the chances of entities spawning makes it even easier to get the crucifix achievement related to the entity (like Rush Nightmare or Bad Luck).
- This gamepass also allows players to enter The Attic with a crucifix, allowing them to banish Recal and Rage. However, there are no achievements related to this.
- The crucifix has absolutely no effect on the following entities:
- The crucifix is connected to Moonlight, as when it's activated, the chains appear to be the same color as it, along with cross turning blue before it disappears.
- At the end of The Attic is a yellow crucifix in a yellow rift purchasable for 100 Rose Gold Coins. This rift and the yellow crucifix are connected to Starlight.
- The only difference is that, when using the Curious Light Crucifix, the visual effects are yellow instead of blue and Moonlight's symbol is replaced by Starlight's symbol; Apart from that, both crucifixes function in the same way.
- At the end of The Attic is a yellow crucifix in a yellow rift purchasable for 100 Rose Gold Coins. This rift and the yellow crucifix are connected to Starlight.
