Moonlight, more commonly known as Guiding Light, is a mysterious blue light, one of The Three Architects, and the deuteragonist of The Lost Floors, known for her helpful and welcoming nature.
Appearance
Moonlight appears as a simple glowing, light blue (or cyan) aura/light with small bright cyan sparkles emanating from her. She is associated with a glowing cyan moon, which is seen in the symbol seen in the middle of multiple sigils throughout the main floors and when the player dies.
Behavior
If a player stays in a room for too long, Moonlight will highlight the door to the next room. In rooms with levers, Moonlight highlights them as soon as the player enters the room, even if not useful. Guiding Light will also highlight the correct passages in Seek's chase sequences. As well as highlighting, Moonlight will also emit quiet sounds in some cases, to further alert players of an item's location.
During Seek's Attic chase and the minecart section of SylBloom's chase, Moonlight will show the correct path by manifesting as her symbol in front of the player's vehicle.
Each time a player dies in a main floor, Moonlight provides useful information on how to avoid dying to the entity responsible. This guidance appears underwater, where the player swims and looks towards Moonlight.

Notes
- The crucifix and the rift are related to Moonlight, as they all share the same color (light blue). Additionally, the crucifix has blue cracks dotting it, furthermore implying it is directly connected to Moonlight (except for the yellow crucifix that is related to Starlight).
- The gender of Moonlight is female. This is proven in DOORS during the 2025 Halloween event, where a painting created by Starlight in The Outdoors subfloor says "This painting is titled 'Her'" when examined.
- The text encoded on the sigil when the Crucifix is used says "OneOfTheThreeArchitectsMarkedByCelestialsAssistsYou". This is referring to Moonlight as one of the three architects. The other architects are strongly implied to be Starlight and Redlight.
