Overview
The Lost Floors is traditionally playable with 1-4 players (up to 12 with personal elevators, however, it is not recommended by developers as hiding spots are not guaranteed for all) exploring rooms in various settings including The Lost Mines, The Lost Floors and The Attic. The objective of the game is to reach the end of the current floor by surviving without dying to any entities that inhabit it. Players may also find items during their run that can aid them.
Entities
Main article: Entities
The Lost Floors has numerous entities the player can encounter throughout the game. Entities are designed to help or attack the player, with each having unique mechanics. Each hostile entity has their own uniquely terrifying jumpscare. The entities a player may encounter also differ from floor to floor.
Items
Main article: Items
Throughout The Lost Floors, players will encounter various items within containers that are littered throughout the various rooms and hallways to be used at their disposal. The most common of these items include the Flashlight, Battery Pack or Medicines, although items spawns more uncovered than in containers. Players can also choose to buy said items in shops in the elevator at the start of the run. Items can also be dropped; drop them by clicking X while holding the item on PC, holding the item icon on mobile, or clicking the associated button on console.
