Starlight, more commonly known as Curious Light, is a mysterious yellow aura and death messenger entity in The Lost Floors, appearing in all floors. It is one of The Three Architects and its motives and goals are largely unknown. Although it provides somewhat helpful messages after death, and highlights areas of progression, it is less helpful than Moonlight in giving advice.
Appearance
After dying in The Attic or The Lost Floors (only after specific deaths for the latter), Starlight appears as a four-pointed star at the top of the player's screen while emitting a bright yellow light in an otherwise pitch black room surrounded by water.
When lighting up an area of progression, Starlight appears to be a simple glowing, yellow aura with small yellow sparkles emitting from it.
Behavior
Starlight can be seen in almost all floors, serving as a death messenger to the player after dying in The Attic, appearing in The Lost Mines for when it teleports the player to the subfloor as well as appearing as a Rift at the end of the subfloor. Starlight provides tips on how to counter the entities found inside The Attic, but when it does it often states the obvious or nothing substantial at all.
Starlight usually makes unhelpful comments about the entities, with the only noteworthy tips being things that most players would figure out very easily themselves. Despite this, it's cheering the player on to keep beating The Attic.

- Starlight is present in all of the existing floors in the game:
- In the Lobby, Starlight illuminates the sign above the elevator leading to The Attic.
- In The Lost Mines, Starlight illuminates the door leading to The Attic.
- In The Attic, Starlight serves as the death messenger of the floor, replacing Moonlight since The Attic is a subfloor.
- In The Lost Floors, Starlight serves as the death messenger when dying to Infect, Rage, a fall during Seek's Attic chase or when jumping off the starting train if it didn't reach room 0.
- Starlight is heavily implied to be the strongest among The Three Architects. This is because of how Starlight appears in every floor (unlike Moonlight or Redlight who are only shown to appear on main floors (and the Lobby for the latter)).
- If a player died to Felk or Hunt in The Attic (they could appear there due to a bug before the 2026 Halloween Event), Starlight would say the same message as Moonlight.
