Its bosses are [Ribseer](/wiki/ribseer) and [Seek](/wiki/seek).

## Overview

The Attic consists primarily of rooms reminiscent of an attic (hence the name), some of which feature numerous windows. Some rooms also feature holes in the floor, revealing the void or a room of the Lost Hotel. Falling into these holes results in death.

The second part of this zone takes place outdoors, in a forest. Some trees have fallen and are lying on the ground sideways. However, it is impossible to explore this forest, as [players](/wiki/players) travel through this part in a cable car that passes above it.

The final room in the Attic features a sloped ceiling on the right and is filled with Seek’s eyes. On the right is also the elevator room to move to the next section.

Players access The Attic by passing through [El Goblino’s Shop](/wiki/el-goblinos-shop-the-lost-floors). Here, they can exchange [Silver](/wiki/silver) for [Revives](/wiki/revive), [Rose Gold Coins](/wiki/rose-gold-coins), and Rose Gold Coin boosts, as well as speak with El Goblino. At the back of the shop, there is a set of double doors leading to [The Storage Room](/wiki/the-storage-room), where players must collect dynamite from eight crates scattered throughout the area to blow open a metal door—all while avoiding Ribseer. Once the door is blown up, Ribseer disappears and the players can progress, then the Seek chase will begin.

During the Seek chase, [Moonlight](/wiki/moonlight) will guide players by indicating the path to follow. There are also rooms featuring windows, where Moonlight will illuminate the light bulb above the correct window in blue. [Redlight](/wiki/redlight) will also attempt to trap players by illuminating the light bulbs above the incorrect windows in red.

After passing through about fifteen rooms of chase, the players will arrive in a room where there is a cable car about to depart. Once inside, players can steer the cable car left or right, though it moves forward on its own. Moonlight continues to lead the way during this sequence. Sometimes there will be forks in two or three paths, and players have to steer the cable car onto the only correct path, because the wrong ones are occupied by stationary cable cars (probably placed by Redlight due to its red sparkles emanating from the cable cars), and crashing into them kills the player.

Once the cable car sequence concludes, the vehicle arrives in a room, and the player jumps out. Shortly after, the doors of the room close, locking Seek out and allowing players to progress to the next section.

## Trivia

- The Attic is implied to be [The Lost Hotel](/wiki/the-lost-hotel)'s attic, as some rooms have holes in the floor that reveals a room from the latter section (though falling into them result in death).
- The Attic is the only section to feature more than one boss. It is also the only section where all three Architects are present, although [Starlight](/wiki/starlight) only appears on the [Death Screen](/wiki/death-screen)—and even then, only if the player dies from a fall in rooms containing holes that lead down into a room of The Lost Hotel.
- For some reason, The Attic's title card also appears in [the subfloor of the same name](/wiki/the-attic) from [The Lost Mines](/wiki/the-lost-mines). This may be a bug.
- There is a rare event where Seek can be replaced by Female Seek.",1,"2026-11-04T18:53:17.827552+00:00","Fandom import",false,1793826017827]
