If all players have not reached the elevator by the end of the timer, the elevator closes and leaves, leaving the player(s) outside. A few seconds later, a red outline will appear on the player(s)' screen, followed by Grinner charging at them, dealing 20 damage on contact. This damage can kill if the player's HP is low enough.\n\n## Trivia\n\n-   It is possible to encounter Grinner during a solo run, but it requires timing and good positioning. If you're quick enough, you can exit the elevator before it closes, triggering the Grinner encounter.\n-   Grinner's position is based on the camera, not the player's position, like [Glitch](https:\u002F\u002Fdoors-game.fandom.com\u002Fwiki\u002FGlitch) from DOORS.\n-   Oddly enough, [Guiding Light](\u002Fwiki\u002Fguiding-light) doesn't mention Grinner's name when you die to him.
